Narcotic Addiction please help?

Okay so please dont chew me out i know im stupid. but i use dto smoke weed and in order to stop I started taking hydrocodone. I do feel anxious to take them but resisted doing so for about 6 hours even though I had them in my possesion I took some when I got home and it took 5 and i still dont feel much. If i stop now forever how long will it take me to stop feeling the need to take them and get back to normal.
