2000 toyota sienna won't start?

I have a 2000 toyota sienna le with 135000 miles on it. the problem is when the engine is cold it would start fine. but if the engine is hot the car would start, the rpm would go up to 1000 then dies. could it be the idle control valve or the throttle body is dirty. please help.
