If an object is placed between the focal point and center of a concave mirror, is the center principal ray use?

If an object is placed between the focal point and center of a concave mirror, is the center principal ray used? I was able to draw a ray parallel to the mirror and a ray going through the focal point, but is the third principal ray which goes through the center nonexistent in this case? If you understand what I'm asking that is great. Thanks.
