The fridge as a commodity?

The fridge means we don't have to shop every day. We can store food. It releases mum from shopping daily. She has time to go off with the bloke down the road. Dad isn't too pleased but at least his beers can be stored in the fridge. The fridge includes a freezer - even more storage time. Big shops take over cos we can get loads in a trolley, bring it home and store it all. Little shops go down the pan, more cars needed to pick up all this food- more cars, more petrol, more fumes, planet slowly dies...
