Are men simple compared to women?

I don't mean in a bad way. But not as complicated as women but more direct, no drama. My husband is a lawyer but at home he only watches sports, plays xbox and looks at . He won't read novels or relationship books or anything like that. Are they just simpler? What's their deal?
