Are corduroys in style?

Hi there. Well i am just curious are corduroys in style or was that back in the seventies? I know stores still sell them and all and i have a few pairs but are they in style today? I am a nineteen year old female if that helps. Being my age, would i look weird wearing them to school? Thanks.
